I went on a picnic with my friend and my formal teacher which is why i spent a total of about 100 dollars on food and goods. it turned out amazing, the weather was great so no regrets on this.
Next is makeup. I was doing a no buy makeup thing in 2025, but I did buy it because of the Bungo Stray Dogs collab they were doing in Isetan (a luxry department store in Japan.) used my gift cards that ! had been saving up for something special, and I got myself lipstick, perfume and an eyeshadow. The lipstick is a collab with Dazai and I bought it at Burberry in the shade Kensington Crush, as well as one from Ahres which was a collab with aifga, I also got the perfume Burberry Her because I actually wanted to get it for a long time, but never was able to decide on it (I was too indecicive). They gave me a few free samples and other freebies so now | belive it was worth every penny.
Because of the collab, they gave me these character business card like cards, and this acrylic stand.
Anime was a big thing for me in March. I also went to the jik cafe and store which ended me emptying out my wallet to the core lol.
The day I went to the jik cafe was the day they were restocking all the stuff they sold out on so they had numbered tickets and i was luckily able to buy everything that I had my eyes on. But it was raining heavily and it was also a national holiday in dapan so it was crowded everywhere (and I forgot my umbrella).
Same day. I went out to Shinjuku to try my luck on the crane games because they put out Higuruma plushies, and luckily l was able to get him! On the other day, I went to a pop-up shop for JJK and 1 wanted to get the acrylic panels but when I went it was sold out (also it was pouring that day),
I also spend a lot on buying Japanese books, not because they were doing a sale (because japanese books aren’t allowed to do sales) but because one of the publishers were doing a event where you can get half back with gift cards if you buy their books. So I made a huge list of all the books that I was interested in and bought way too many please don’t judge. It was a fun experience but I don’t know when I can get through all these books so my near term hobbies will be reading only.
1 also did buy three English books which I also look forward to reading, Who Cooked Adam Smith’s Dinner? A Story about Women and Economics, Wool (from the Silo saga), and The Three Body Problem. You all can see that my preferences are all over the place, but l enjoy anything except for history so please drop any recommendation.
This is all the important shopping 1 did in March, but 1 forgot what I chose not to buy so maybe in April I’ll remember.
